A poem inspired by the recent images of the Pluto system in the Kuiper Belt
Pluto and her moon
dance
to the music of the spheres
They dance to the song of
gravity
orbiting a common core
Never apologize for who you are
Or what you feel
(Neither is under your control)
You want to know how I know I love you?
Could I list the ways within the hour?
Only fools rush in; I know this is true

Perhaps some good advice
But “I can’t forget the feeling”
Surely would suffice
Never forget the feeling
Whether heated, whether ice
“I won’t forget the feeling”
(Though forgetting might be nice)
