Who has the hands to fix the world?
Between the invisible hand of laissez-faire
And the omnipotent hand of government
The tiny hands of the Donald
And the mighty hand of God
I can’t help but feel we’re all being a little unrealistic

Beyond the Cosmos: How to Beat Climate Change Deniers in an Argument
Last Sunday, Cosmos finally spoke out on an issue that’s near and dear to my heart. Climate change is the single most important issue we face today. To suggest otherwise is simply fact ignoring. But I don’t blame the public for not understanding what’s happening to the Earth and what we can do about it. There’s a great deal of confusion about the fundamentals: what climate is, how we see the past weather cycles, what’s causing the changes, how noticeable the changes are (and will be), what’s special about our time, it goes on and on. There were lots of key points in Sunday’s episode that I’d like to highlight so you can go out Beyond the Cosmos and convince climate change deniers that they’re wrong.
Object and Subject Pt. 2
The news is screaming again
If it has less than sound and fury
What will happen then?
Turn on, tune in, drop out.
Fifteen thousand madmen
Cooped up, kept down, hurt
And no one there to save them
Turn on, tune in, drop out. Continue reading
Seemless Transit
Lento. The red line train came on time for all of my friends. They all ran out of sight in a flash. I want to remember them all. To the right, some big smart legacies going to change the world. To the left, a beautiful lonely mother of two, waiting to escape. Outside, a musician from the ancient orient here to visit. Across from me, she was plain and I didn’t know her name. I didn’t hear her voice. I don’t think she moved much. Not on the outside. Her eyes sagged listlessly and tried to ignore me. But I knew she wasn’t going anywhere. If I could I would ask her:
The sparkle of this city has dazzled you
Hasn’t it?
Founding Purgatoric Generations
Purgatory was founded in 199X with burning sins and burning eyes with no one claiming to be the Second Coming. Blinded with white or off-gray, un-programmed, non-directional, zero he stumbles into rhetoric in gridlock and searching. “I don’t see the point the writings of maddened hipsters.” I am not the messiah. We were always in between the pornomachines and a million broken sonnets by my diseased schizophrenic great grandmother who made all of my second cousins republicans. This is the end.
On Proper Use of the Semicolon
A semi-colon is used to separate two independent clauses;
The two have to be closely related though;
Proper people have guidelines like these;
Our perception of “proper” is derived from Victorian social mores;
Victorian perfectionism is derived from Puritan tyrannical overthrows;
Tyranny is a form of government in which cruel people lead;
A member of the aristocracy is 4% more likely to be sociopathic;
Your state of mind is a disease;
You can never connect that impossible tangent of fleeting electrical currents in your mind;
Light travels much faster than electrons;
God separated light from the dark;
God separated woman from man;
Some wonder who this God person is anyway;
